Dr. Seokhwa Yun is a Professor at the College of Business Administration at Seoul National University, Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Management from the R.H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park. He received his BA and MBA from Seoul National University. His special areas of research include leadership, employee’s extra-role behaviors, expatriation issues, and knowledge management. His research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Journal, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of International Business Studies, and International Journal of Human Resource Management, to name a few. He served as an ad hoc reviewer for major journals including the Academy of Management Review and the Journal of Applied Psychology. He received the SNU Business School teaching award in 2009, 2012, and 2014. He received the SNU Best Teaching Award (서울대학교 교육상) in 2011 and SNU Best Research Award (서울대학교 학술연구상) in 2023.
