Dr. Namgyoo K. Park joined Graduate School of Business, SNU in 2006.
He earned his first Ph.D. at Seoul National University in 1995 and the second Ph.D. at New York University in 2000.
His doctoral dissertation was selected as a finalist for the Free Press Best Dissertation Award of the Academy of Management, the Barry M. Richman Best Dissertation Award of the Academy of Management 2001, and the Richard N. Farmer Dissertation Award of the Academy of International Business.
He received several best research and teaching awards from New York University, University of Miami, KAIST, and Seoul National University. His teaching and research interests lie in the field of creativity, white collar innovation, global competition, M&A, corporate growth, and strategic alliances.
He has taught M&A, creativity and innovation, strategic management, international business, and global competition at Seoul National University, New York University, and University of Miami.
Portions of his works were published in the Strategic Management Journal, the Journal of Management, Transportation Research, the Journal of Air Transport Management and the International Journal of E-business Strategy and are under review for the Strategic Management Journal. He has actively participated at the Academy of Management, the Academy of International Business, and the International Academy of E-Business.
