    Bong-Chan Kho is a Professor of Finance at Seoul National University Business School. He earned his BA and MA in Business Administration from Seoul National University and his Ph.D. in Finance from the Ohio State University. His research focuses on Investments, Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Derivatives, and International Finance. He has published in top-tier journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, the American Economic Review, the Journal of Accounting Research, the Journal of Banking and Finance, and the Journal of Empirical Finance.

    Professor Kho has served as an Associate Dean for the MBA Program, a Director of the Institute of Finance and Banking (IFB), and a Director of the Advanced Banking Program (ABP) at Seoul National University. He was the President of the Korean Securities Association (KSA) in 2017, and was the editor of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Financial Studies (the first SSCI-listed journal in finance in the Asia-Pacific area). He was also Vice President of the Korea America Finance Association (KAFA) and a board member for the Asia Finance Association (AsFA). He served on the program committees of the Western Finance Association (WFA), the Financial Management Association (FMA), and the European Financial Management Association (EFMA), and was on the editorial boards of the Korean Securities Association, the Korea Finance Association, and the Korean Association of Futures and Options.
