Youjae Yi is Distinguished Professor at Seoul National University. After receiving his PhD in marketing from Stanford University, he served on the faculty of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (1987-93). His current research interests include customer satisfaction, service quality, customer citizenship and dysfunctional behavior, advertising effects, and brand loyalty. He developed the KS-SQI (Korean Standard-Service Quality Index), Public Customer Satisfaction Index(PCSI) and Seoul Service Index. He has served as president of Korean Marketing Association, Korean Society of Consumer Studies, and Service Marketing Association. He has also received many research awards such as the Best Paper Award from Korean Marketing Association, the Distinguished Achievement Award from Korean Standard Association, and Distinguished Scholar by the Korea Research Foundation. He has served as editor of the Korean Journal of Consumer Studies, co-editor of Service Industries Journal, and associate editor of the Journal of Consumer Psychology.
